Tout 18 Dallas offers replicas of the most renowned holes in the history of golf. Rated 4 stars by Golf Digest Places to Play, this course gives golfers the opportunity to experiences designs similar to the holes that helped determine the outcomes of tournaments like the US Open, the Masters, the Tour Championship and the PGA Championship. The course design, conditioning, service and facilities consistently earn this property the distinction of being one of the top rated daily fee courses in the Dallas/Fort Worth region.
The replicas include the approximate designs from holes at Cherry Hills, Baltrusol, Doral, Crooked Sticks, Winged Foot, Medinah, Harbour Town, Oakland Hills, TPC Sawgrass (the famous Island Green par three), Oakmont, Southern Hills, Riviera, Pine Valley, Firestone, Muirfield Village, and the Augusta National (the last three holes are from "Amen Corner" ).
On property is a full service clubhouse with pro shop, restaurant/lounge that is open for breakfast and lunch, and locker rooms with showers for both men and women. Banquet/outing facilities here can accommodate nearly 300 guests. Practice facilities are quite comprehensive, and include a targeted grass range, short game area with sand bunker, and putting green.
There are 4 sets of tees that play to distances and slopes measuring 7033 yards/138 slope, 6611 yards/132 slope, 6202 ayrds/127 slope, and 5493 yards with a slope of 119 from the forward sets. As these ratings indicate, this is a pretty formidable challenge. The greens, fairways and hazards are all contoured to imitate the same challenges the PGA Tour players encounter. The conditioning, landscaping and service will help golfers of all skill levels to enjoy their experience here however.
On course yardage markers are posted on the cart paths and fairways at 100, 150 and 200 yards, and sprinkler heads are also measured to the center of the green on all par fours and fives. Directional stakes are also visible on holes that warrant them. A pin placement sheet is mounted on all carts, to provide info on the day's hole locations.
Sand bunkering is highlighted, with nearly 80 sand traps featured along the fairways or greenside. Water hazards come into play on 4 holes on the front side, and five holes on the back This is a beautiful course, and a highly recommended experience - a "must play" in the DFW region!
