The Resort Course at La Cantera opened in 1995 and lured the historic Texas Open, one of the oldest stops on the PGA Tour, to its greens that same year. Winding through the Texas Hill Country, the par-72 course has been named one of the Top 10 public access golf courses in the U.S. by Golf Magazine and one of the best new courses by Golf Digest. The course, now home to the PGA Tour's Valero Texas Open at La Cantera is known for its breathtaking views, the most famous being the sheer, 80-foot drop from the 7th tee to the fairway

From San Antonio Airport:  Turn right at NE I-410 Loop West. Travel approx 4 miles and take I-10 toward San Antonio/El Paso.  Take I-10 West  for 7.8 miles.  Exit 555 to  La Cantera Pkwy/Fiesta Texas. Turn left at La Cantera Pkwy.
